The Visayas Blogging Summit (VBS) 2010 will be the very first event of its kind to be hosted here in Iloilo on November 27, 2010. The goal of the VBS 2010 is to gather ideas and explore the potential impact of blogging on society, business and politics in the Visayas and beyond. It will magnify the reputation of blogging as a potential source of income as well as a new form of media that advocates citizen journalism and social change.
The event will gather bloggers from all over Visayas, Luzon, and Mindanao. We have notable speakers who are experts in their respective fields. The VBS 2010 will be a whole day affair. In the evening, the Iloilo Bloggers Inc., will be bringing to Iloilo City the Visayas Leg of the Philippine Blog Awards 2010, with the support and endorsement of Philippine Blog Awards Inc., to recognize notable blogs in the Visayas.
The VBS 2010 is being organized by the Iloilo Bloggers Inc.. Contact the organizers through our contact form on the right. Tell all your friends or blog about it.
